Is it really free? What's the catch?
Yes, our work is free. There is no later invoice, no subscription and no "premium" version. The only costs that can come up are outside fees, such as renewing a domain name, which you pay directly to that provider. We tell you about these before you agree to anything.
Can you guarantee approval from Google or GoFundMe?
No. Google, GoFundMe and other platforms make their own approval decisions. We prepare and submit applications with you, but we cannot guarantee their outcome.
Who owns the website and accounts you set up?
You do. Your domain, hosting, website files, content, data and accounts are registered in your organization's name. When the work is finished, we remove our own access. Nothing is held back.
Why do we have to be registered?
Registration lets us confirm, quickly and fairly, that we are helping a real nonprofit. It is also what Google for Nonprofits and most fundraising platforms ask for, so being registered means the accounts we set up can actually be approved.
Our registration is still in progress. Can we apply?
Not yet. Please apply once you have your registration certificate or number. If you'd like, write down the date you expect it so you remember to come back.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the work. Account setup can take a few weeks, largely because platforms take time to approve applications. A full website usually takes longer. You'll get a realistic timeline at the scoping call. [TO CONFIRM: typical project length, e.g. "most website projects take 6–10 weeks"]
What if you can't start right away?
Our capacity is limited. If we can't start your project soon after you are approved, we will tell you and place you on a waitlist, with an honest estimate of when we can begin.
What happens after handover? Will you maintain the site?
We build things to be simple to run without us, and we train your team before we leave. For [TO CONFIRM: number of days, e.g. 30 days] after handover we fix any errors in our work at no cost. After that, you are welcome to apply again for new work.
Will the AI chatbot make things up?
We build it to answer only from the documents you give us, and to say "I don't know, please contact our team" when the answer isn't in them. You review and approve its answers before it goes live.
Do you work with organizations outside the countries listed?
Yes, if you are officially registered as a nonprofit with a government authority in your country. Choose "Other" in the form and tell us which authority registered you.
